The spectacular ceremonial Passing-Out-Parade (POP) of 106 Aeronautical Engineering Course (AEC) was held at Air Force Technical College (AFTC) on 07 March 2026, in the august presence of dignitaries, officials, air warriors, parents and air veterans. The parade embodied the successful culmination of 62 weeks of rigorous training of 106 AEC. A total of 108 Engineering Officers including 09 officers from Friendly Foreign Countries passed out from the College with flying colours.
Air Marshal Sanjiv Ghuratia, Air Officer-in-Charge Maintenance, Air Headquarters & Commodore Commandant AFTC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Reviewing Officer (RO) of the graduation parade. On arrival, the Reviewing Officer was received by Air Commodore K Giri, Commandant of the College. The parade was marked by a spectacular flypast and mesmerizing sky diving demonstration by ‘Air Devils’ team of Indian Air Force. The ‘Air Warrior Drill Team (AWDT) presented an entrancing performance for the audience.
The RO awarded trophies and medallions to the officers who excelled in the course. The prestigious ‘Sword of Honour’ for first in order of merit was awarded to Flying Officer Chandra Chud Rai and the ‘President’s Plaque’ for the best officer in professional subjects and General Service Training was awarded to Flying Officer Amartya Singh. The ‘Chief of Air Staff Medals’ for being first in the order of merit in Electronics and Mechanical Streams were awarded to Flying Officer Prashant Pandey and Flying Officer Ingavale Rushikesh Jagannath respectively.
The Air Marshal addressed the gathering and congratulated the graduating officers. He emphasized that Engineering Officers of Indian Air Force play a vital role in ensuring availability of aircraft and other weapon systems in both peace and in the face of hostilities.. He called upon the young officers to constantly upgrade their knowledge and skills in an ever changing technological environment, lead from the front, build strong teams, exhibit the highest degree of professionalism and maintain impeccable integrity with unwavering commitment in the service of the nation.
106 ಏರೋನಾಟಿಕಲ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ (AEC) ನ ವಿದ್ಯುಕ್ತ ಪಾಸಿಂಗ್-ಔಟ್-ಪರೇಡ್ (POP) ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ 2026ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 07 ರಂದು ವಾಯುಪಡೆ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ (AFTC) ಗಣ್ಯರು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ವಾಯು ಯೋಧರು, ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಾಯು ಪರಿಣತರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. 106 AEC ಗಳ 62 ವಾರಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ತರಬೇತಿಯ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಪರೇಡ್ ಸಾಕಾರಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಸೌಹಾರ್ದ ದೇಶಗಳ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 108 ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಿಂದ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ (RO) ಆಗಿ ಏರ್ ಮಾರ್ಷಲ್ ಸಂಜೀವ್ ಘುರಾಟಿಯಾ, ವಾಯು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಚೇರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಮೋಡೋರ್ ಕಮಾಂಡೆಂಟ್, AFTC ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ (RO) ಆಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದರು. ಜ್ಞಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕಮಾಂಡೆಂಟ್, ಏರ್ ಕಮೋಡೋರ್ ಕೆ ಗಿರಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಾಯುಪಡೆಯ ‘ಏರ್ ಡೆವಿಲ್ಸ್’ ತಂಡದಿಂದ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಫ್ಲೈಪಾಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೋಡಿಮಾಡುವ ಸ್ಕೈ ಡೈವಿಂಗ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ಪರೇಡ್ ಅನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ರೋಮಾಂಚನಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ‘ಏರ್ ವಾರಿಯರ್ ಡ್ರಿಲ್ ತಂಡ (AWDT) ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿತು.
ತರಬೇತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ RO ಟ್ರೋಫಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿತು. ಫ್ಲೈಯಿಂಗ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಚೂಡ್ ರಾಯ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ‘ಸ್ವೋರ್ಡ್ ಆಫ್ ಆನರ್’ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಾಗಿ ‘ಪ್ರೆಸಿಡೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಪ್ಲೇಕ್’ ಮತ್ತು ಫ್ಲೈಯಿಂಗ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಅಮರ್ತ್ಯ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸೇವಾ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ಸ್ಟ್ರೀಮ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆರಿಟ್ ಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ‘ಚೀಫ್ ಆಫ್ ಏರ್ ಸ್ಟಾಫ್ ಮೆಡಲ್’ಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಫ್ಲೈಯಿಂಗ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಪಾಂಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ಫ್ಲೈಯಿಂಗ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಇಂಗವಾಲೆ ರುಷಿಕೇಶ್ ಜಗನ್ನಾಥ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಏರ್ ಮಾರ್ಷಲ್ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಾಯುಪಡೆಯ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಶಾಂತಿಯುತ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯುದ್ಧದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮಾನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಲಭ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನವೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು, ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು, ಬಲವಾದ ತಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಬೇಕು, ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚಲ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಷ್ಪಾಪ ಸಮಗ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
